Relationship between Cognitive Failure and Internet Addiction of Higher Secondary Students of Purulia District of West Bengal: A Study

In the 21st-century internet, addiction has become a common phenomenon among students. Internet is sometimes referred to as internet disorder, pathological usage, reliance, problematic use, overuse and compulsive use. And cognitive failure outlined probable consequence of general control system. The present study aimed determine relationship between higher secondary students Purulia district West Bengal. For study, researchers have used descriptive survey-type research. data for been collected from seventy-eight (78) class XI randomly selected two schools in Bengal, India, using simple random sampling technique. appropriate statistics like mean, standard deviation, correlation inferential Shapiro-Wilk test normality test, ‘t-test Mann-Whitney U analysis. result revealed significant Bengal However, no difference observed regarding gender, location stream.
